So, Ellie and Max were on their way to the orphanage. With them were the two men, Emily, and Andre. Ellie was practically holding Max, Max was so close to her. There was no talking the whole time until they got there. “Would you like to give your brother a kiss before we go?” Emily asked. “You aren’t supposed to let the children interfere with the baby and you know it.” One of the men exclaimed. “The Andre is mine now and I’m going to decide if he gets to see his siblings for the last time or not.” Emily yelled “Andre is not yours and you are not the boss of him. Max and I are!” exclaimed Ellie. Emily whispered, “I’m sorry Ellie, but I need to take care of Andre. You can’t take care of him because of your father. He has caused The British much harm because of the war. They wanted to hurt your dead father’s spirit by making his children orphans.” “It’s not our fault our dad was the general!” Max yelled so loud that everyone in the old hollow town could here him. They walked a little longer in silence until they arrived in the orphanage. Emily started talking to a lady at the front desk about something that Ellie and Max couldn’t here very well. They got a few parts of it, “I’m Emily John” , “I know James Willa” Max told Ellie that the ‘Willa’ Emily said was probably Williams. They heard Emily say one last the thing, “I need to drop the kid,” Ellie told Max that Emily was probably saying, ‘I need to drop the kids off’ when she said, ‘I need to drop the kid’. Finally Emily was finished talking and let Ellie and Max give Andre big hug and kiss. Max and Ellie both got to hold Andre. When it was Ellie’s turn she wanted to run like the wind with Max and Andre. But she just couldn’t get her feet to move an inch. Soon enough the lady told the 2 children to follow her and Emily tried to take Andre. Ellie didn’t know how she did it but she did. Ellie was in tears and she wouldn’t let Andre go. She ran strait out the door with Andre in her hands. Everybody ran out the door with her. Max caught up to Ellie who was running so fast you it seamed like you couldn’t even see her. “What are you doing?!” Max shouted worriedly. “I’m running away.” Ellie said back. While Ellie said that she almost ran into the one of the very few people in the town outside that day.
